Assembly Technician

• £13ph - £14ph
• Day shift
• 23 days holiday + bank holidays

Syntech Recruitment are searching for an Assembly Techncian for our sub-contract machine shop client based near Oxford. Working to engineering drawings and using hand tools, a strong electro-mechanical background is required.

Assembly Technician Duties:

• Complete mechanical sub-assemblies via engineering drawings and specifications
• Utilize all approved tools / equipment to complete assemblies to the standards required
• Help assist in making technical data when required
• To be responsible of quality of all own work
• Report any issues to the team leader when required

Assembly Technician Profile:

• Strong electro/mechanical assembly background (Apprenticeship ideal but not essential)
• Able to perform electrical wiring , electrical testing when required
• Experience with vacuum testing would be beneficial
• PC literate
• UHV understanding
