Assembly Technician

Syntech Recruitment is partnering with a globally recognised specialist manufacturing client to recruit an Assembly Technician. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a meticulous approach to assembly and a commitment to quality.
Responsibilities:

1. Component Inspection: Diligently inspect all components to ensure adherence to stringent quality standards before assembly.
2. Assembly: Execute precise assembly of the company products according to established manufacturing procedures, maintaining exacting specifications.
3. Quality Control: Conduct meticulous quality control checks on assembled products to validate optical accuracy, durability, and cosmetic perfection.
4. Repairs and Adjustments: Skilfully manage necessary repairs and adjustments to meet uncompromising quality standards.
5. Inventory Management: Maintain an organised inventory of components and oversee timely supply ordering to support uninterrupted production.
6. Product Testing: Perform comprehensive product testing to ensure optimal optical clarity, comfort, and ergonomic fit.
7. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of assembly processes and quality control checks to ensure compliance with industry standards.
8. Collaboration: Work collaboratively within a team to achieve production targets and enhance assembly processes continuously.

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (additional training in optical assembly is advantageous).
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and precision in assembly processes.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using assembly tools and equipment, with an aptitude for learning new technologies (training provided).
• Computer Literacy: Proficient in computer usage for accurate documentation and efficient inventory management.
• Team Player: Strong team player with a commitment to maintaining a professional and customer-centric demeanour.
