Brazer / TIG Welder - Gerrards Cross - Up to £31,000

Are you an experienced Brazer / TIG Welder? You could be progressing your career at a world class and very successful Manufacturing company who have been awarded multiple queens awards and provide a range of complex safety equipment for the Aerospace / Defence markets.

Based in a busy Welding department, you will be required to perform TIG Welding and high / low temperature Brazing techniques.

Location / Hours:

You'll be based close to Gerrards Cross, 5 days per week; you'll need to be able to drive there or be on close public transport links. Free parking available.

37hrs per week (Mon-Thur 8:00 - 17:00 / Friday 8:00 - 12:00)

Requirements:

• TIG Welding experience on a variety of ideally Aluminium, Stainless and Mild steel parts.
• Brazing experience of high temperature silver / Low temperature brass work
• Manual self-inspection experience, perform quality tests and checks
• Completing assemblies using handheld assembly/fitting tools
• Working to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and engineering drawings
• Ideally certified to BS EN:12797:2000 and AWSD17.1/D17.1M:2010-AMD1 standards (desirable)

Salary & benefits:

As a Brazer / TIG Welder, you will earn a competitive salary of between £27,000 - £31,000, with scope for salary progression. Benefits for this position include:
