Location: Uxbridge, Middlesex
Salary :£45,000- £48,000
Benefits:24 days holiday, plus Bank holidays- Company benefits

Job Description

Syntech recruitment are working with our long standing client on a new vacancy for a Cell Leader within their Assembly Department.

Duties and Responsibilities

• To supervise a team of operators and ensure that output and production targets are met
• Ensure that the production schedule is adhered to in accordance with the relevant SOP's work instructions and Health and Safety requirements
• Drive improvement activities such as 5s and TOC etc
• Plan and allocate work to maximise the machine cell output
• Clear communication with your team
• Provide progress updates through regular work meetings etc
• People management
• Appraisals and training plans for staff members
• Ensure that all Health and Safety regulations are followed at all times
• Review all manual handing procedures

About you

• You will have a HNC/HND Engineering related discipline or apprenticeship
• Good computer skills using SAP or equivalent
• Working within a team
• Good problem solver
• Methodical and accurate
• Good written skills, report writing risk assessments
• Worked within an manufacturing environment
