CNC Grinder (Nights or Weekends)

Location: Near Newbury, West Berkshire (15-minute drive / 30 minutes via public transport)

Salary:

• Nights: Up to £52,500 (inclusive of 33% uplift)
• Weekends: Up to £47,000 (estimated annual equivalent with uplift)

Shifts Available:

• Night Shift: Monday to Thursday, 19:00–07:00
• Weekend Shift: Friday to Sunday, 06:00–18:00

With state-of-the-art Studer grinding machines and an ultra-clean facility, this is a long-term role suited for CNC Grinders who take pride in their precision.

CNC Grinder Duties:

• Operating Studer CNC cylindrical grinders to manufacture tight-tolerance parts
• Interpreting engineering drawings to produce high-spec metal components
• Conducting precise self-inspections using micrometers, gauges, and verniers
• Collaborating with engineers and machinists to maintain workflow

CNC Grinder Profile:

• 3+ years’ experience operating Studer or similar CNC cylindrical grinding machinery
• Experience working to tight tolerances – ideally in motorsport, F1, or aerospace
• Skilled in precision inspection and confident reading technical drawings
• Comfortable working independently in a high-spec production environment
