CNC Team Leader

• Based near Ashted, Birmingham
• 39hours (Monday - Thursday 6:30am to 2:30pm, 1:30pm on Friday)
• £34,000 - £36,000

Syntech are looking for a CNC Team Leader for an Aerospace business down near Ashted, Birmingham. Working with a team of 11 programmers/operators, the CNC Team Leader will reuqire knowledge of programming with either Fanuc, Heidenhain but ideally Mazatrol and have a solid understanding of how a tight tolerance, low production machine shop should run.

Duties of a CNC Team Leader:

• Leading a team of 11 machinists
• Ensuring the team is running the correct jobs, hitting production targets
• Assisting with CNC Programming

CNC Team Leader Profile:

• Proven experience of CNC Programming (Mazatrol ideally but Fanuc and Heidenhein will be considered)
• Capable of confidently setting and operating multiple CNC Machines at one time
• 5+ years' experience of leading a machine shop in a similar precision environment (Aerospace, Automotive etc)
• Knowledge of Powermill CAD/CAM would be beneficial
• Knowledge of ISO9001 and AS9100 standards would be beneficial
