Job Description - CNC Miller

Starting Salary: £18 - 21 ph / £37,440 - £43,680 pa
Location: Pangbourne, Reading
Hours: Flexible days, 40 hours per week.
Work 3, 4, or 5 days a week, you choose your hours as long as 40 hours a week are completed.
Overtime: Plenty of overtime available at 1.5X pay.

To support our continuous growth and maintain our commitment to excellence, we are currently seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join our dynamic team.

CNC Miller Responsibilities:

• Program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines, specifically 3 Axis Hurco machines, to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure they run smoothly and efficiently, making any necessary adjustments and performing maintenance tasks as required.
• Conduct regular quality checks to verify the accuracy and precision of finished products, maintaining high standards of quality throughout the production process.
• Collaborate with the production team to optimize workflow and ensure on-time delivery of products to meet customer requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the machining process, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.

CNC Miller Profile:

• Experienced with 3 Axis CNC Mills.
• Proficiency in programming and operating CNC milling machines.
• Strong understanding of technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high precision in machining.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Flexibility to work varying hours and overtime when needed.
