Syntech Recruitment are currently recruiting for a client based in South West Ireland who are an established precision manufacturing business. We are currently looking for skilled CNC Sliding Head machinists to join the team. The successful CNC Sliding head machinist will be producing parts for the Pharma, Automotive, oil & gas and many other sectors.
CNC Sliding Head duties:
· Must have the ability to set, operate and edit sliding head machines · Have an understanding of up to date manufacturing techniques · Be able to maintain sliding head machines by keeping your work area clean and tidy · The ability to work under pressure
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
Experienced CNC Sliding Head Machinist
Fanuc control experience would be beneficial but not essential
Self-inspection
Candidates with any "offline" programming capabilities would be at a distinct advantage
