Location: Reading
Salary: To £16p/h + Shift Uplift
Hours: Early shift (6am to 3pm)
Job Type: Permanent

An exceptionally busy manufacturing business in Reading is seeking an additional CNC Turner due to consistent and steady growth in orders.

The responsibilities of a CNC Turner:

• Setting and operating a variety of CNC Lathes (Fanuc controlled)
• Using Fanuc controls to set, operate and edit programmes
• Performing self-inspection using handheld inspection tools (verniers, calipers, micrometers etc)

The profile of a successful CNC Turner:

• Used to machining at tight tolerances to produce either aerospace or motorsport quality components
• Familiar with self inspection tools and techniques
• Capable of setting, operating and editing using fanuc controls
• Assisting in other areas of the machine shop
