CNC Turner (Nights or Weekends)

Location: Newbury, West Berkshire (10 mins from M4)

Salary:

• Nights: £48,500 – £52,500r (inclusive of 33% shift uplift)
• Weekends: £43,000–£47,000 per annum (inclusive of shift uplift)

Shifts Available:

• Night Shift: Monday to Thursday, 19:00–07:00 (4 nights/week)
• Weekend Shift: Friday to Sunday, 06:00–18:00 (3 days/week)

Join a world-class, high-performance manufacturing business based in West Berkshire. With a packed order book and continued investment in the latest CNC technology, they are looking for skilled CNC Turners to join their advanced machining team – either on the night shift or the weekend shift.

You’ll be machining tight-tolerance components for the motorsport sector using top-end CNC lathes (primarily Okuma with Fanuc controls), with minimal supervision.

CNC Turner Responsibilities:

• Setting and operating CNC lathes (Okuma with Fanuc controls)
• Editing programmes at the machine
• Machining complex components to tight tolerances
• Self-inspection using micrometers, verniers, and calipers
• Supporting a clean and efficient machine cell

CNC Turner  Profile:

• Proven experience setting and operating Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes
• Background in motorsport, aerospace, or precision engineering
• Skilled in self-inspection and working independently
• Experience using Vericut (desirable but not essential)
• Comfortable working night or weekend shifts
