Dispatch Operative

Syntech are proud to work with our client, a leading manufacturer of innovative equipment, is seeking a highly motivated Dispatch Assistant to join their growing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our client’s warehouse operations.

Due to the location of this client, a driving license is essential as the company is inaccessible via public transport routes.
Responsibilities:

• Process and dispatch customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Maintain accurate inventory control systems
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Prepare and manage shipping documentation for UK and international shipping
• Complete basic final inspection on goods before shipment
• Assist with warehouse operations as required
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations

Skills and experience:

• Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (Ideally in a manufacturing environment)
• Forklift experience is ideal but not essential
• Experience with dispatch software is ideal
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
