FAIRS Inspector / £35,000 - 37,500 / Full Time Permanent / Harlow

Are you an individual that thrives under pressure? Can you perform efficiently at a high pace? If so, then this may be the perfect role for you working as a FAIRS inspector for a well reputed aerospace company based in Harlow.
You'll be based in a busy inspection department. You will be producing on average 2 FAIRS reports a day (not including submissions or reviews). You'll be reporting to the inspection leader/quality manager.

Location / Hours:
Based in Harlow, Essex. The hours are standard days 40 hours per week with potential some flexibility on the start and finish times.

FAIRS Inspector Duties/Profile:

• MUST HAVE experience working to AS9100 standards conducting FAIRS reports/inspection.
• FAIRS Inspections: Conduct visual inspections on aerospace equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control processes, identifying and rectifying any discrepancies in visual inspections.
• A successful FAIRS Inspector will have a strong understanding of Engineering Drawings (geometrics, tolerances, dimensions etc).
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of visual inspections, producing comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven experience in visual inspections (IPI Software ideally)
• Experienced with standard mechanical inspection of parts.
