FAIRS Engineer / Gerrards Cross / Up to £40,000

Are you an experienced FAIRS Engineer / Inspector? You could be progressing your career at a world class and very successful Manufacturing company who have been awarded multiple queens awards and provide a range of complex safety equipment for the Aerospace / Defence markets.

Based in a range of busy Manufacturing departments, you will be responsible for completing audits, overseeing quality inspection processes and supporting relative departments in a variety of tasks and responsibilities.

Location / Hours:

You'll be based close to Gerrards Cross, 5 days per week; you'll need to be able to drive there or be on close public transport links. Free parking available.

37hrs per week (Mon-Thur 8:00 - 17:00 / Friday 8:00 - 12:00)

Requirements:

• Quality Engineering / Inspecting experience within the Aerospace Engineering sector (desirable)
• Working knowledge and understanding in the application of AS9100 audits and AS9102 First Article Inspection
• Experience in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, processes and use of 2D and 3D images
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
• Computer literacy, proficient in using Microsoft Office packages e.g, Excel / Word
• Familiarity with Qpulse QPM software and SAP or equivalent QMS systems
• HNC / HND / NVQ level of education and/or time served engineering apprenticeship
