Field Service Engineer Responsibilities:

• Conduct maintenance, repair, and installation work on a variety of heavy plant equipment at customer sites.
• Perform MIG welding and fitting to support mechanical repairs and modifications.
• Diagnose faults across mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain professional relationships with clients.
• Complete service reports and documentation in line with company procedures.
• Adhere to all health and safety standards, both on-site and in the workshop.

Field Service Engineer Expertise:

• Proven experience in a field service or mobile technician role.
• Strong knowledge of MIG welding and mechanical fitting techniques.
• Background working with heavy plant, construction, or agricultural machinery.
• Ability to read technical drawings and follow maintenance schedules.
• A self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
