Field Support Engineer
Syntech Recruitment is pleased to be working with a leading tech company in the UAV sector who is looking for a dynamic Field Support Engineer to provide technical support, deliver customer training, and perform field testing on cutting-edge drone systems. You’ll be hands-on with high-tech solutions used in critical industries like security and defence.
Field Support Engineer Duties
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues (on-site & remote).
- Perform regular maintenance, software updates, and upgrades.
- Train users and support customer inquiries.
- Conduct field tests and provide feedback for product improvements.
- Ensure safety and compliance during operations.
Field Support Engineer Profile
- Strong engineering background (Software/Electronic/Mechanical).
- Linux CLI, networking, and some programming knowledge (C++ ideal).
- Experience with high-pressure situations and customer support.
- Bonus: Drone regulatory knowledge, pilot license, or UAV experience.
