First Article Inspector

Syntech Recruitment are looking for a qualified First Article Inspector to join an world leading aerospace client based near Uxbridge.

First Article Inspector Duties:

• Regularly plan inspection to ensure product meets requirements with QPM.
• Complete all inspection and FAIRs for high quality aerospace components.
• Reviewing and ensuring all completed FAI meet the requirements of QAI-148 / AS9102, buy off the reports and archive them correctly.
• Assisting the continuous improvement of effectiveness of the First Article Inspection processes to meet and/or exceed QAI-148 and AS9102
• Supporting any other FAI Inspection activities as and when required.

First Article Inspector Profile:

• Have a background working in manufacturing or engineering (Aerospace Background Desirable)
• Have experience with inspection.
• Confidently understand the application of the AS9102 First Article Inspection process.
• Vast experience of reading technical drawings.
• Good working knowledge of inspection tools.
• Good computer skills (Microsoft Office Applications)

Salary: Up to £38k
Hours: 8:30am to 5pm (Mon to Fri) 8:30am to 12pm (Fridays)
Job Type: Permanent
