Graduate Quality Engineer

Syntech Recruitment are currently working with a client that are looking to expand their team and take on a Graduate Engineer. You will have a passion for engineering and manufacturing and have the desire to succeed and develop your chosen career.

Duties and Responsibilities

• To assist in continuous activities including non-conformances and customer complaints and returns
• Ensuring a consistent/detailed approach using Root cause analysis and problem solving tolls such as
• 8D and 5s
• Carry out inspection duties when required
• Understand customer requirements and the industry and best strategy for improving quality
• Manage the administration  of the internal quality process
• Assist with supplier selection through robust qualification process
• Improving quality in line with customer expectations and industry standards

 About you

• Experience in the use of continuous improvement and techniques
• Experience of working  within a manufacturing environment
• Understanding of process management tools and methodology
• Knowledge of 5s, Kaizen, 8D, VSM
• Degree qualified Mechanical Engineer
• Qualified to ONC/HNC Level in Mechanical Engineering
• Positive attitude
• Results driven
• Keen to drive improvements and capable of thinking outside of the box
