Sewing Machinist / Uxbridge / To £25-26,000

Must be able to commute to the UB9 area.

Are you an experienced Sewing Machinist? You could be progressing your career at a world class and very successful Manufacturing company who have been awarded multiple queens awards and provide a range of complex safety equipment for the Aerospace / Defence markets.

Based in a busy sewing department, you will be working to engineering drawings and using a variety of sewing machines such as Industrial Sewing Machines and Overlockers to complete various types of stitching. You will also be involved in the quality inspection of completing stitching and fabrics.

Location / Hours:

You'll be based close to Uxbridge, Middlesex, five days per week; you'll need to be able to drive there or be on close public transport links. free parking available.

37 hr week (Mon-Thurs 8.00-17.00 / Friday 8.00-12pm)

Requirements:

• Proven experience working on Industrial Sewing Machines
• Experience of working on Overlockers
• Knowledge of wefting and weaving techniques
• Able to complete stitches to technical drawings
• Manufacturing industry experience is beneficial
• Complete maintenance of sewing machines
