Syntech Recruitment are pleased to be working with this fantastic client that are currently looking to expand the team and hire an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer for their facility in Surrey. You will provide technical leadership and management in accordance to achieving the company’s mission, strategy and vision.

You will have the experience of delivering turnkey projects within the industrial gas sector, and provide risk free
solutions to the customer. Will be required to carry out the company’s methods effectively and efficiently and to
a company standard at all times.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead team members in a visionary, ethical, motivational and legal manner.
• Manage and deliver multiple projects within budget and timescales.
• Develop and support the development of new technical/commercial proposals and quotations.
• Lead fostering a strong team work ethic.
• Work positively with current; and establish new good working relationships with customers, contractors and suppliers.
• Agree performance expectations with all direct reports and provide feedback to them (monthly) on performance against expectations.
• Maintain an openness to feedback on one’s own performance and a commitment to implementing agreed performance/behavioral changes.
• Lead nominated teams for engineering projects by defining the process and technical strategy for the project and preparing appropriate design and project documentation.
• Prepare design and detail drawings of equipment and systems, including the procurement and use of external engineering services, when required.
