IT/IS Systems & Quality Assurance specialist Outside IR35 £550-700 per day September / October start Syntech Recruitment are delighted to bring to market an exciting and varied IT/IS Systems role. This position is due to commence in September / October 2022 and interviews are due to take place towards the latter stages of August. The position is for a total of 22 months, and we will require someone for anywhere between 12-15 days per month. Project delivery will be, in the main, managed and delivered on a remote basis with the occasional requirement to attend technical, testing and project meetings in London or the north-west of England. The capability to work on a remote basis efficiently and successfully, within a dynamic project management environment, is essential. Demonstration of working within similar projects and/or programmes will be an important criterion of successful candidates. Experience and efficient of use of MS Office and MS Teams is essential as is being available for occasional travel (with costs recovered) as noted above.

Inputting into the test scheme methodologies
Inputting into the development test specifications, plans and processes
Monitoring the conformance of test outputs and results, ultimate test output approval in subject areas
Contributing to the implementation of lab controls, test governance, test assurance processes, monitoring processes and test tooling
Provision of test output review and commentary in relevant subject areas
Contributing IS test engineering subject matter expertise to schemes development
Inputting into the test scheme methodologies
Inputting into the development test specifications, plans and processes
Monitoring the conformance of test outputs and results, ultimate test output approval in subject areas
Contributing to the implementation of lab controls, test governance, test assurance processes, monitoring processes and test tooling
Contributing QA Systems/Technical Assurance subject matter expertise to schemes development
Inputting into the test scheme methodologies
Inputting into the development test specifications, plans and processes
Monitoring the conformance of test outputs and results, ultimate test output approval in subject areas
Contributing to the implementation of lab controls, test governance, test assurance processes, monitoring processes and test tooling
Provision of test output review and commentary in relevant subject areas
IT/IS Systems & Quality Assurance duties: Please describe:

Your experience of IT/IS systems assurance at functional, interoperability and conformity assessment parameters including hands-on experience of performance assessment of systems carrying data communications through end to end systems with multiple end devices utilising technology standards such as Open ADR, ZigBee, Bluetooth and other IEEE 802 standards
Any knowledge of PAS 1878 and 1879 - please include any input you may have had into the PAS development process and/or experience of interpreting the relevant requirements for real-life Energy Smart Appliances (ESAs) and/or DSR systems
Your hands on experience of implementing IT/IS quality assurance into the testing environment to ensure the integrity of systems testing and that outcomes are sufficiently assured
