Salary: £35,000 - £36,000 doe
Hours: 39 hrs per week (paid 20min break)
Flexible hrs - core hrs are…. Mon - Thurs 8-2pm - Fri 8-1pm

We at Syntech are looking for a toolmaker with a background in injection mould or die cast tool manufacture, successful candidates MUST have working knowledge of EDM spark erosion.

Toolmaker's Duties:

• As a Toolmaker you will be responsible for the manufacture, maintenance, service and repair of injection mould & die cast tools from base components.
• Responsible for manufacturing tooling to the highest standard, while adhering to headlines using the latest innovate technology.
• Setting and running of EDM spark & wire erosion machines.
• Polishing injection mould & die cast tools.
• Assembly of tools.
• Working in a systematic fashion following any instructions available.
• Keep a high level of housekeeping.

Toolmaker's Profile:

• Prior experience in a toolmaking environment, ideally within injection mould or Die cast tooling.
• Recognised engineering Qualification/Time Served Apprenticeship.
• Competent in the use EDM spark eroders/CNC toolroom machinery including.
• Experience in interpreting engineering drawings.
• Attention to detail to ensure the finish is achieved to the highest possible standard.
