Manufacturing Support Technician
Mon–Thu, 37.5 hrs
Role Overview
Dynamic EMS requires a Manufacturing Support Technician to bridge the production floor and engineering function. This cross-functional role covers process documentation, first-line equipment support, tooling management and continuous improvement. As Dynamic EMS scales, technically capable floor support — someone who can both run a station and improve how it runs — is critical. The role suits someone who has outgrown a pure operator position and wants to contribute to how the business is built, not just how it runs.
Key Responsibilities
- →Provide hands-on support across production stations; cover absences and balance line output
- →Create, maintain and update work instructions, process sheets and standard operating procedures
- →Manage tooling, jigs and fixtures: track, maintain, repair and requisition replacements
- →Support NPI from prototype to production release
- →Identify process inefficiencies; propose and implement improvements with the Production Manager
- →First-line maintenance on production equipment: mechanical adjustments, calibration, sensor checks
- →Support quality investigations with accurate floor observations
- →Participate in daily stand-ups; provide clean shift handovers
Essential Requirements
- →Minimum 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing or electronics production environment
- →Experience writing or maintaining work instructions and process documentation
- →Practical understanding of production machinery: setup, operation and basic first-line maintenance
- →Methodical and detail-oriented; able to follow and enforce standard work
- →Safety-conscious; familiar with PPE use, machine guarding and LOTO
Desirable Requirements
- →Electronics manufacturing or EMS background
- →IPC-A-610 awareness or certification
- →Lean or CI methodology (5S, Kaizen)
- →MES/ERP experience in a manufacturing context
- →HNC/HND in Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
