Mechanical Fitter

Salary: Up to €55,000 + 5% bonus  

Location: Ringsend, Dublin

Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:30am – 4pm & Friday 07:30am – 3pm

Start Date: ASAP

Syntech are on the lookout for a number of Mechanical Fitters to work as part of our clients mechanical team, tasked with carrying out repairs and installations works across the plant.

Mechanical Fitters Responsibilities:

• Working as part of the Mobile Engineering Team and supervising contractors for maintenance, repairs and installations
• Carry out preventative maintenance work on plant
• Maintain Engineering area in terms of good house keeping
• Contribute on identification, quantification, implementation and presentation of equipment continuous improvement projects
• Making sure maintenance tasks are completed in accordance with site policies and procedures

Mechanical Fitter Requirements:

• Maintenance Fitter Craft Certificate or equivalent.

• Good communication skills, teamwork abilities and initiative.
• Proven ability to work well as part of a team & on own with minimum supervision
• Experience in industrial, infrastructure, or large-scale facility settings is advantageous
