Rate: €45,000 – €55,000

Location: Dublin, D4

Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:30am – 4pm & Friday’s 07:30am 3pm

Start Date: ASAP

Syntech Recruitment are seeking multiple experienced Mechanical Fitters with proven expertise in MIG, TIG, and ARC welding.
To be considered, candidates must hold a QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft in a relevant mechanical or welding discipline.

Mechanical Fitter duties:

• Working as part of a Mechanical Team for maintenance, repairs and delivery of new installations/capital replacement.
• Maintain Engineering area to good house-keeping standard
• Complete all works safely in accordance with site safety policies and relevant legislation.
• Complete tasks in accordance with site policies and procedures

Mechanical Fitter experience:

• QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft in Mechanical Fitting, Welding, or equivalent.
• 5+ years’ experience in an industrial/mechanical environment.
• Fully certified in MIG, TIG, ARC, and Gas welding techniques.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, templates, and schematics.
• Effective communicator with excellent teamwork skills and the ability to work independently.
• Proficient in digital tools such as Microsoft Office and email systems.
• Understanding of Health & Safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Experience within wastewater treatment or heavy process industries is an advantage.
• Full, clean driving licence required.
