Mechanical Fitter / Gerrards Cross / £26k - £27k starting salary

Are you an experienced Mechanical Fitter / Assembler? You could be progressing your career at a world class and very successful Manufacturing company who have been awarded multiple queens awards and provide a range of complex safety equipment for the Aerospace / Defence markets.

Based in a busy Fitting Shop department, you will be undertaking a variety of mechanical assemblies and workshop operations.

Location / Hours:

You'll be based close to Gerrards Cross, 5 days per week; you'll need to be able to drive there or be on close public transport links. Free parking available.

37hrs a week (Mon - Thur 8:00 - 17:00 / Fri 8:00 - 12:00)

Requirements:

• Experience with drilling machines and riveting techniques such as manual, orbital and spin
• Use of adhesives and glues (Araldite etc)
• Experience of using measuring equipment and hand tools
• Capable of working to engineering drawings
• Manufacturing experience, ideally 2 years plus
• Pressure test experience (desirable)

Salary & Benefits:

As a Mechanical Fitter, you will earn a starting salary between £26,000 - £27,000 plus benefits including:
