Mechanical Inspector

Salary up to £16p/h

Hours: 37.5 hour working week

Location: Woking, Surrey

25 days holiday, Overtime at 1.5x per hour

Syntech recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a high technology manufacturing business working in the aerospace and oil & gas sectors located in Woking, Surrey.

As a Mechanical Inspector you will be responsible for carrying out detailed dimensional inspection to engineering drawings using a range of equipment including Aberlink CMM, inspection hand tools and a contactless laser scanner.

Essential Knowledge / Experience / Skills

- Use of manual and CNC CMMs (Ideally Aberlink)

- Working to ISO 9001/AS9100 requirements

- Creating First article inspection reports (FAIRs)

- Working knowledge of GD&T

- Proficcient using handheld inspection eqipment (Verniers, Calipers, Gauges, etc.)
