Mechanical Inspector / Gerrards Cross / £30,000 circa

Are you an experienced Mechanical Inspector? You could be progressing your career at a world class and very successful Manufacturing company who have been awarded multiple queens awards and provide a range of complex safety equipment for the Aerospace / Defence markets.

Based in a busy Sheet Metal department, you will be responsible for inspecting a variety of metallic components with high attention to detail.

Location / Hours:

You'll be based close to Gerrards Cross, 5 days per week; you'll need to be able to drive there or be on close public transport links. Free parking available.

37hrs a week (Mon - Thur 8:00 - 17:00 / Fri 8:00 12:00)

Requirements:

• Engineering / Manufacturing experience
• Mechanical inspection using a range of inspection tools and equipment e.g, callipers, micrometers, various gauges
• Good knowledge of GD&T (Geometric, Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Ability to work and communicate within a team effectively
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office (desirable)
• First Article Inspection experience (desirable)
• 5s activities and experience (desirable)

Salary & Benefits:

As a Mechanical Inspector, you will earn a competitive salary of around £27,000 - £30,000 plus benefits including:
