We’re looking for a Payroll Specialist to take full ownership of an established payroll function for around 150 employees, as it transitions from HR back into Finance. This is a standalone role offering genuine autonomy, working closely with both Finance and HR to ensure payroll is delivered accurately, compliantly and on time.
If you enjoy reconciliations, payroll accounting and working in a varied SME environment where no two months are quite the same, this could be an excellent opportunity.
This is a hands-on, standalone payroll position where you’ll manage the complete monthly payroll cycle while supporting Finance with payroll journals, reconciliations and reporting.

This isn’t a high-volume, heavily automated payroll environment. Instead, you’ll become the payroll expert within a growing business, taking ownership of a varied payroll function while working alongside supportive Finance and HR teams.
You’ll have the autonomy to make the role your own, contribute to continuous improvements and play an important part in supporting a business that’s continuing to grow through acquisition.
