Plant Fitter

Hours: Monday to Friday, plus overtime and on-call as required

We are working with a specialist lifting equipment supplier to recruit an experienced Plant Fitter for mobile cranes and construction equipment. Based across depot and customer sites in Dublin, this is a hands-on role for a self-sufficient fitter who can service, maintain, and repair a varied fleet to a high standard.

Plant Fitter Duties

• Service, maintain, and repair mobile cranes and construction plant
• Carry out mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic fault diagnosis and repair
• Complete routine inspections, scheduled servicing, and breakdown response
• Work across depot and customer sites, coordinating with clients and colleagues
• Complete accurate service records and job documentation
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working area
• Work safely and in line with all health and safety procedures

Plant Fitter Requirements

• Time-served plant fitter, heavy vehicle, or mechanical qualification
• Experience maintaining mobile cranes, heavy plant, or construction equipment
• Strong hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Able to work independently and manage your own workload on site
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel to sites
• Crane or lifting equipment experience is an advantage
