Salary: £30,000–£35,000 per annum
Location: Near Leamington Spa, Warwickshire
Hours: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a cutting-edge engineering and manufacturing business near Leamington Spa, supporting the assembly and testing of high-performance gearbox and axle systems for bespoke powertrain applications.
As a Senior Assembly Technician, you’ll take a leading role in building complex mechanical and hydraulic assemblies while supporting team productivity, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Senior Assembly Technician Responsibilities:

• Assembling complex gearbox, axle, and hydraulic systems to build plans and specifications
• Conducting end-of-line testing and ensuring compliance with quality standards
• Supporting team leaders with planning, productivity, and task allocation
• Leading or contributing to continuous improvement and quality investigations (8D)
• Training and mentoring team members to ensure consistent assembly standards
• Using measurement equipment (verniers, micrometers, etc.) for inspection tasks

Senior Assembly Technician Requirements:

• Proven experience in mechanical assembly, ideally within gearboxes, axles, or powertrain systems
• Skilled in reading and working from engineering drawings and build plans
• Confident using precision measurement tools
• Familiar with problem-solving techniques and supporting quality processes
• Comfortable training others and sharing knowledge within the team
• Strong attention to detail, good time management, and commitment to health & safety
