Syntech Recruitment are partnering with our client, a specialist in stainless steel pipework, vessel manufacture, and bespoke stainless steel fabrications for the Pharmaceutical, Brewing, and Distilling sectors. They are seeking a Sheet Metal Fabricator to join their busy workshop-based team.
You’ll be working with stainless steel sheet metal, using your ability to read technical drawings and fabricate custom components to a high standard.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering/technical drawings
• Set up and operate workshop equipment including press brakes and guillotines
• Fabricate and construct custom stainless steel fabrications (e.g. vessels, walkways, platforms)
• Perform grinding and finishing of products
• Conduct quality checks on completed items

 
Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ fabricator experience
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Proficient in the use of fabrication tools including press brake and guillotine
• Experience with stainless steel sheet metal
• Relevant training/apprenticeship (e.g. SOLAS Sheet Metal Apprenticeship) is an advantage
• Full driving licence
• Right to work in Ireland
