Trainee CNC Machinist

Syntech Recruitment is recruiting for multiple Trainee CNC Machinists for our aerospace client based near Stadhampton. As a Trainee CNC Machinist, you will receive full training on setting and operating CNC Machines for mills and lathes.

Trainee CNC Machinist Duties:

• Learning how to set and operate 3, 4-axis CNC machines
• Following all supervisor instructions on health and safety
• Reading engineering drawings
• Completing mechanical assemblies as required
• Using handheld inspection tools to inspect machined components

Trainee CNC Machinist Profile:

• No experience is required – other than a keen interest in engineering and a strong attitude to learning
• Engineering qualification (degree, BTEC, NVQ etc) is ideal but not essential
• Driving license is ideal but not essential (the role is on the direct bus link from central Oxford but it is not accessible by public transport from the Reading area.)
• Must be 18+ and ready to work full-time
