We are seeking a motivated individual to join as a Trainee Mechanical Inspectorwithin the Goods In department at their Denham site. You will receive comprehensive training and hands-on experience in a world-class manufacturing environment that values development and excellence.

What you’ll be doing
Under the guidance of experienced trainers, you will:

• Learn and develop inspection and testing techniques for aerospace components.
• Interpret engineering drawings, test procedures, and technical specifications.
• Produce and maintain inspection documentation in line with quality standards.
• Use SAP to record progress, track components, and manage non-conformances.
• Handle materials and components safely and in compliance with health and safety procedures.
• Contribute to lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for individuals with a genuine interest in mechanical engineering and how things work.
If you’ve ever enjoyed tinkering with cars, bikes, engines, or mechanical projects, you’ll be at a strong advantage — this role is ideal for someone with a practical mindset and curiosity for engineering.

You’ll also need:

• GCSEs in Maths, English, and Physics (or equivalent).
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office).
• A willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
• A self-motivated, reliable, and adaptable approach to work.
