CMM Inspector
Salary: Up to £22 p/h (Including shift Premium)
Hours of work: 40 per week (Days: 8am - 5pm Mon to Fri) or (Nights: 7pm - 6am Mon to Thur)
Job Type: Permanent
Location: Newbury, West Berkshire

Tasks for a Mechanical Inspector:

• Mechanical Inspection of machined components to required quality standards
• Follow Engineering drawings and spec sheets
• Carry out Visual inspections
• Carry out first principle inspections
• Bench Inspection
• CMM Inspection (Programming and operating)

Your Profile:

• Several years Mechanical / Quality Inspection within a high precision business
• Good working knowledge of CMM machines ideally Mitutoyo / Zeiss
• Previous CMM Programming experience on any software
• Experience using Faro Arm and Contour Trace would be ideal
• Good understanding of 1st , batch and final inspection
• Solid understanding of GD&T
• Strong use of all hand measuring tools and equipment
