Syntech Recruitment are searching for a CNC Turner for our sub-contract machine shop client based out near Oxford. Working on a variety of turning machines, you will be expected to be able to program using either/or Fanuc and Heidenhain controls.

CNC Turner Duties

• Program various CNC lathes using Fanuc and/or Heidenhain controls
• Reading engineering drawings to produce programs
• Self inspection of machined components when required
• Creating layout sheets to document tools and tooling for other operators
• Following Health and Safety protocols at all time

CNC Turner Profile

• Proven experience of programming lathes using Fanuc and/or Heidenhain controls
• Experience working on 3 and 4 axis CNC machines
• Time served apprenticeship would be ideal but not essential
• Flexible attitude to work and hours
• Self inspection skills
