You have the opportunity to join a well reputed family run manufacturing company that creates bespoke pieces within the pharmaceutical and food industry.

Location / Hours:

Based in Maidenhead, Berkshire, two or three days per week; you'll need to be able to drive there or be on close public transport links. Free parking available onsite.

Part Time Work 2/3 days a week (25 - 30 hours) Choose the days/hours you work.
The core hours are Mon-Fri 8.00am - 4:30pm.

CNC Turner Duties/Requirements:

• Program & operate CNC lathes: Set up, interpret code, and run CNC machines to produce precise parts. Primarily 1s and 2s.
• Set up & operate manual lathes: Secure and machine parts using manual lathes for specific shapes and dimensions.
• Read & interpret blueprints: Understand technical drawings to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Select & prepare machining tools: Choose appropriate cutting tools based on material and desired outcome.
• Operate various measuring instruments: Utilize calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure machining accuracy.
• Set up and maintain tooling: Install and adjust cutting tools for optimal performance.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment: Prioritize safety by wearing PPE and keeping the workspace organized.

Salary: As a CNC Turner, you will earn a competitive hourly rate of (£16 - 20 p/h)
