Location: Co. Longford, Ireland
Salary: €17-18
Hours: Monday to Friday, Full-Time – 4:30PM – 1AM 

About the Role

Syntech are looking for a number of CNC Operators (Lathe’s) to join a precision engineering company renowned for quality, innovation, and teamwork. As a CNC Turner, you’ll work with cutting-edge machinery to produce high-quality components, with full training provided on machine specifics. Whether you prefer days or nights, this is your chance to become part of a friendly, professional team where your skills and attention to detail will be valued.

CNC Turner duties:

As a CNC Turner, you will:

• Operate CNC machines to produce parts to specification.
• Follow instructions from setters to ensure precision and quality.
• Load materials using appropriate feed mechanisms.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and geometric dimensions.
• Use measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to verify dimensions.
• Maintain production and quality logs.
• Keep work areas clean and equipment maintained.
• Communicate effectively during shift handovers.
• Support the team with additional tasks, including packing duties when required.

CNC Turner duties:

• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Experience using standard measuring equipment.
• Previous CNC or manufacturing experience desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Eligible to work in Ireland (no work permit required).
