Maintenance Electrician

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000
Location: Aldershot, Hampshire
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, Day Shift (e.g. 07:30–16:00 with early finish Friday)

A well-established engineering / manufacturing business based in Aldershot is looking to hire an Industrial Maintenance Electrician to support site-wide electrical maintenance and continuous improvement.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone confident working with industrial electrics (3-phase) across a varied mix of legacy and modern machinery, alongside specialist equipment including CNC machines, wire making lines, and bespoke welding machines.

Maintenance Electrician  Responsibilities:

  • Electrical maintenance and fault finding across the full manufacturing site
  • Working on machinery including:
    • Grinding machines
    • Milling machines
    • Turning / lathe machines
    • Equipment ranging from 1960’s legacy machines through to modern systems
  • Supporting specialist equipment such as:
    • Sintering furnaces
    • Dedicated wire making lines
    • Bespoke welding machine electrical builds
  • Ensuring the site remains compliant electrically, including:
    • Planned maintenance
    • 5-year electrical checks
    • PAT testing
    • Supporting / maintaining fire alarm and fire system infrastructure
  • Actively contributing to continuous improvement and upgrades across the site

Maintenance Electrician Requirements:

  • Strong experience in industrial electrics (including 3-phase)
  • Background in electrical maintenance within manufacturing / engineering / industrial environments
  • Confident fault finding and working independently on site equipment
  • A proactive, hands-on attitude and willingness to get stuck in
