Quality Inspector

Salary: £16p/hr - £20p/hr (up to £40,000 DOE)

Hours: 6/7am - 4/5pm (Mon-Thur)
Job Type: Permanent
Location: near Harlow, West Essex
Benefits Included: 4 day work week, 25 days holiday, overtime 1.3x - 2x rate

We at Syntech Recruitment are pleased to offer an opportunity for a Quality Inspector to join a highly regarded engineering business based near Harlow, West Essex.

As a Quality Inspector you will be responsible for mechanical inspection of precision machined components.

Quality Inspector Duties:

• Working to engineering drawings
• Inspecting metallic components to tight tolerances
• CMM operation / programming (Mitutoyo)
• Use of inspection / measurement equipment (vernier callipers, micrometers, shadowgraphs)

Quality Inspector Profile:

• Prior use or knowledge of CMM operation/programming (desirable)
• Proficiency in using measurement and inspection hand tools
• Experience working to ISO9001 standards
• Several years of mechanical inspection experience in a precision engineering environment
